Preschool Room

Where "formal" education begins

Age Range: 3 years to 4 years

Preschoolers to Teacher Ratio: 7 to 1

Average Class Size: 10-12

Our goal in the Preschool Room is to help children develop respect for themselves and others while experimenting and investigating at their own pace. Language, music, pre-math skills, science, art, reading readiness and practical life skills are taught. Field trips include visits to such places as the Children’s Museum, Pike Place Market, and the Woodland Park Zoo.

As with all of our classrooms, the Preschool schedule is flexible to meet the needs of all the children. We communicate daily with parents to keep them informed of their child's growth and develop.
